our Mission

Our mission at Coastal Children’s Center is to help young children reach their full potential. We believe that by providing a stimulating and happy environment, children will develop the skills needed to be successful in school and into their adult years. We strive to create a solid foundation of respect, responsibility, and compassion throughout our program.

Philosophy

Coastal Children Center is dedicated to providing a warm, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. We strive to create a program where families and children feel at home and part of a warm supportive community. Our curriculum is designed so that children are naturally curious about their environment and that play is an essential ingredient of preschool programming. Through play in a well arranged and regular enriched environment, children learn about themselves as they develop their cognitive, social and emotional capabilities. Our curriculum focuses first and foremost on social/emotional development. We provide experiences that foster a sense of self as an individual child, while encourageing a sense of community along with touching on our letter curriculum, Zoo-ponics and bits of number corner for math.

I am the proud Owner of Coastal Children’s Center, where we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and education for young children. Born and raised on the Central Coast, I bring over a decade of experience in early childhood education, backed by 15 ECE units and a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Multiple Subject Teaching.

With more than 12 years of hands-on experience in child care, I have developed a deep understanding of how to nurture and inspire children during these formative years. My passion is creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive, learn, and grow. At Coastal Children’s Center, I combine knowledge, expertise, and heart to ensure families feel confident knowing their children are in the very best care.

Hi, I’m Aubree.

I am the Director of Coastal Children’s Center Arroyo Grande and serve as our Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher. I have always had a heart for children, and over the years I’ve found that my favorite age group to work with is two to five-year-olds. I love their curiosity, excitement for life, and the joy they bring each day.

I grew up on the Central Coast and was fortunate to attend Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Child Development with a minor in Psychology. After graduation, I worked as a Child Development Specialist in Early Intervention. Despite loving my time doing early intervention, I felt called to focus on preschool teaching full-time. Since then, I’ve been a Lead Teacher across various age groups and have loved each stage of learning and growth.

I feel blessed to partner with families on the Central Coast to help guide their children through these formative years of development.
